Use it like a big knife or an axe to chop small to medium size branches. Very good quality!
Very sharp out of the box. I would recommend making a leather sheath for it as the one that comes with it will not last long due to the sharpness of the blade.
The handle looks and feels good offeeing good grip even when wet. I would add a retention loop on the handle to ensure safety when using for slashing and chopping.
