Shasta Boots
I bought these for a trip to Washington in December. They are very light, fully lined and water resistant. I'm looking forward to wearing them.

Think of it as an investment.
Not your everyday shoe, only for really cold weather. Perfect if you add wool socks. Good quality. Soles are a bit stiff, so it doesn't bend all that much when walking. This makes the feet a bit tired. I have not used them in snow yet, so I cannot comment on that purpose. I have used them in rain and they are great. Cosy and warm.

A great pair of winter boots
A great pair of boots ideal for Cape Town winters especially with the cold and rainy days. Boots are waterproof and pair them up with a nice pair of socks for the extra warmth on those chilly days.

Are these waterproof and suitable for snow?
They are waterproof and in my opinion suitable for snow. The boots are warm but I would pair them up with some nice socks for the extra warmth. They have a nice tread for grip but just be careful on icy or very thin snow parts as they don't have spikes underneath.
