The CRKT Pilar is a compact, everyday carry folder knife with a minimalist design. Its designer - Jesper Voxnaes - named it after author Ernest Hemingway's beloved boat that he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats during WW2 in Caribbean waters. Hemingway was also a WW1 combat veteran, big-game hunter, sailor and fisherman, and certainly would have selected a knife such as this one for his daily endeavours.
