For every 100 points you accumulate, you will receive a R100 voucher to spend at any of Cape Union Mart, Poetry or Old Khaki, online or in-store.

How do I join Friends & Family Rewards?

Signing up is quick, easy, and free! You can join in any of our 300 stores in South Africa or from the comfort of your own home via any of our websites.

How do I earn points?

You can earn points every time you shop in-store or online, provide your mobile number at the till, or log in when you shop online

How do I redeem my vouchers?

Voucher redemption is easier than ever! You can redeem vouchers in-store and online, here is what to expect:

In-store you can give our sales team your mobile number or present your Stocard virtual card when you are ready to pay. Any vouchers you have linked to your account that are applicable will automatically be applied.

Online you will see the active vouchers waiting for you when you are ready to checkout. Simply click on the relevant voucher to add it to your cart before you complete the checkout process

Do my Friends & Family Rewards Vouchers expire?

Once a voucher is created, it is valid for a period of 3 months (90 days) from the date of issue. Accumulated points will expire after 12 months of inactivity on your profile.

Can I use my Friends & Family Rewards Voucher on promotional deals or discounted merchandise?

Yes, provided the minimum spend threshold per voucher of R200 is reached after any promotions and / or discounts are applied.

How will I get vouchers?

You will receive Friends & Family Rewards vouchers linked to the points you earn every time you shop. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Friends & Family Rewards Points are only applicable on purchases made in-store and online in South Africa; excluding outlet and airport stores. 
  • Friends & Family Rewards Points are only earned on the paid value of the transaction and will not take into account any discounts and/or promotions applied.
  • Exclusions are applied to selected items and therefore you will not earn points on these purchases and/or payments: garment repairs, non-merchandise items (e.g. gift wrapping services or shopping bags), RCS account payments, lay-by purchases, gift card purchases and selected electronic items.
  • Friends & Family Rewards Points are earned on all your online purchases; however, any shipping and/or handling fees are excluded and you will not earn points on these amounts.
  • You are limited to using 5 (five) Rewards Vouchers in a single transaction.
  • There is a minimum spend value of R200 required per voucher.
  • Vouchers are linked to a member profile; therefore, they are not transferable and can only be used by the member they were issued to.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • You can end your membership at any time by contacting our Customer Service team on customer-service@capeunionmart.co.za or call 0860 333 329 or via your online profile by changing your preferences.

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The Cape Union Mart / Travelstart Competition (“the Competition”) is operated by Cape Union Mart International (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”). 
  • The Competition is open to all South African residents in possession of a valid identity document.
  • You are not eligible for the Competition if you are an employee, a direct family member of an employee, a Corporate Client or any other person who supplies goods or services to the Promoter. 
  • The Competition starts at 00:01 on Tuesday, 4 June 2024, and closes at 00:001 on Monday, 17 June 2024.
  • To stand a chance to win Cape Union Mart gear valued a R15 000 and a Travelstart voucher valued at R15 000. 
  • To spend on any Travelstart adventure or local destination, participants are required to: sign up to Friends & Family and Travelstart.
  • The winner will be selected by random draw under the supervision of an independent attorney. 
  • The winners will be notified via phone or email on 19 June 2024.
  • The judge’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  • The prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, and no monetary change will be given.
  • Furthermore, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant believed to have supplied false information or enter the competition under false pretences.
  • If a winner cannot be successfully contacted following all reasonable attempts to do so, Cape Union Mart International (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to disqualify the winner from the Competition and elect another winner in his or her stead. 
  • Cape Union Mart International (Pty) Ltd collects and uses personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act.
  • Furthermore, the selection of the winner complies with the audit requirements of the Consumer Protection Act. 
  • Entry into the competition implies acceptance of the above rules.
  • Cape Union Mart International (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend these rules at any time upon reasonable notice, and such amendment(s) shall be deemed to have taken effect from date of publication of the revised terms and conditions.
