1. Choosing your safari

A safari can take many different forms. You can organise it yourself, driving around the bush from camp to camp in your 4 x 4. You can travel with other tourists in a large overland truck. You might have no desire to sacrifice any of your comforts while on holiday, and so choose a “luxury” African safari. For the really adventurous, there is even the option of doing it on foot.

2. Find a tour operator

Once you have a fair idea of what you want to do, where you want to go, and which game you want to see – contact a tour operator that specialises in African safaris. 3. Malaria
